Today I found a picture of a transparent Stormtrooper "OT".

Does anybody know where it comes from and if it's a "real thing" or a clone?

Haha ... I usually restrain myself from posting in what seems to be "rediciolus" topics.

However it might just be from the link above, that Sir von Lego have seen a transparent stormtrooper, and i would like to se it indeed.

Meenwhile have a look at my 40.000+ transparent brick build version of the Oridion galaxys creature that has chamellion like skills to always fit into whatever background its represented with, even works with LEGO:

Counterfeit off brands are doing transparent, Lego must not be that far behind. Maybe we'll see force ghosts in the next 5 years or so?

The difference is Lego have friction standards that they follow, along with guarantees on parts. these Counterfeit and third party manufactures do not, and don't care how long something lasts. and it's that reason that Lego very rarely have clear parts connecting directly to other clear parts, the combined friction is far higher than standard parts in the same setup.
