This is my first MOC, and for creating it, I have only used pieces of 2 75078 official set without any supplementary pieces. Please find result and not used pieces (only guns and missiles) :

What I have done :

- 3 places for StormTroopers instead of 2,

- moving front cannon (horizontally only),

- place inside for ammo and StormTroopers,

- removable roof,

- roof cannon.

What I have not done correctly (due to lack of pieces):

- place for a pilot,

- not high enough (StormTroppers cannot stand up inside with helmet),

- color of roof,

- back of transport should be reviewed.

Great job! I really like what you did and how you did it.

Do you have instructions on this build or do you mind if I try to build the same?

No instructions (yet) ! But I will try to do something.

As I'm new on Moc, is there software to do instructions (not LDD) ?

Good call re: combining 2 packs - I'm working on something similar myself. It's a cool & neat design, and the interior space plus lid is a nice touch. If I was limiting myself as you have done parts-wise, I would have kept the number of external troop placements at 4, and used the extra space/bricks to widen the front section a bit and get a driver in there (personal preference though eh?)/

Awesome build, and it just clicked in my head that i have two 75078s sitting right in front of me on my desk

Ill be tempted to buy another two though, otherwise ill end up with less vehicles in my Lothal garrison..

I just built this, and i have to say, it is an excellent build, turns two battlepacks into one big army-pack, easily a €30 set. Here and there the construction is a bit less then solid, but that is only logical given the parts constraint, it is an awesome job. It looks MUCH better next to my AT-DP

Did have some trouble working off of LDD though, the construction guide mode puts everything in some random order, putting parts in mid-air, expecting you to put a part between two previously connected parts etc.. but i worked it out

Kudos OP! I love this little craft (and LEGO can thank you for selling me two extra BPs)

Add a few extra pieces, replace others and it will be more stable ;)

I'm waitting for my second set...

Yeah, the only time i really had trouble with it was during construction though, the sides are a big line of high narrow stacks, but once the plates/grids across the top come on it is a solid construction, so no complaints really.

And i love the fact that it is basically a combined model for 2 of these sets, it is almost a single €30 set, with a cool vehicle and 8 stormies.

No issue on building in LDD, but the instruction generator create strange result. I will try to use another tool to create "correct" instructions

Yeah, it was a minor issue though, i got it right in the end, it was just a bit odd having it do the flag-flaps as six seperate stages dispersed though the whole build, and only after youve placed the slide-nub and the plate they fit between etc..

Dont worry too much about the instructions, having an LDD model is easily good enough

Thanks for sharing! It's really cool.

I am thinking merging my 12 ITT into 6 of yours.

Just a little question. Can you fit 2 stormtroopers inside (sitting)

When I have time I will try to build yours and after that even maybe combining 3 or 4 BP together.

Great work once again!

Yes, you can place 2 stormtroopers inside sitting, or standing up without helmets.

I'm currently working on combining 3 BP : result soon...

(6 stormtroopers outside + 6 stormtroopers inside + 1 driver + door + 3 boxes that can be put off by back of ITT...)

You totally should, the Two BP version is the reason i bought another 2 75078s last weekend (and a shadowtrooper BP because they had a promo)

And im willing to bet im not the only one to buy a few extra because of this excellent moc :P
