Let me present the first iteration of the Swebrick post-apocalyptic landscape!

(I assume this belongs in this forum...?)

More modules and exhibitions to come.

Wow! So much detail! I really like the road and how the depth to the terrain was used. The only thing that would make this better would be a lot more pictures! :sweet:

Fantastic work

I love how you made the ground and the street. Furthermore the destroyed houses look great, too.

I love this and my next MOC will be like this!

@Gideon

You had some rules for landscaping, because other AFOLS joined this landscape with the same size?

Yes, we had some rules on the general size of the modules and especially the interface to the neighbors. That enabled the collab to grow and shrink depending on who’s modules were present on an exhibition. Of course we also tried to sync the landscaping a bit, but except for the the SNOTed road it was more of guidelines than firm rules.

Great, maybe you can introduce me into this rules? I can't spreak swedish, so your Forum couldn't help me :pir-devil:

After my actual Project

I will start with this Theme maybe in 2020.

Are some of these MOCs still alive?

Here is a sample strip of the landscape used as a guideline for the design:

15683066738_1d077ac863_c.jpg

Height (at the interface to the neighboring modules): Baseplate + 3 bricks + plate
Depth: 4 baseplates (128 studs)
Length: Arbitrarely

The road is SNOTed and centered at the 2nd baseplate. The same goes for water, which we built SNOTed with either reddish brown or olive green.

At the cross-section of visible edges of the landscape we spread about 15 log bricks per 32 section.
