jonwil Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Apologies if this is the wrong place or not allowed but I just thought I would let everyone know that the online games store gog.com now has LEGO games (starting with the first Batman game and the 2 Harry Potter games but no doubt expanding later). Their pricing is better than Steam (at least based on the prices I am being shown here in Australia for both sites) and they currently have the 3 titles (Batman, Harry Potter 1 and Harry Potter 2) available at an introductory discount. They are also better than Steam in that you dont need to have a client program running in the background when you play. Will be good to see which other LEGO video games they end up getting and at what prices... Quote
Lego Spy Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Their pricing is better than Steam (at least based on the prices I am being shown here in Australia for both sites)... Steam often has 75% off sales on Lego games. ($4.99 USD) Quote

Willsy Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 (edited) Huh, given that it's GoG I would have thought that they would have some of the old Lego Media/Software games. Maybe Lego don't own the rights to them anymore? It might be an explanation as to why they haven't shown up on GoG or the PS1 classics, that or or are no longer deemed up to standard. jonwil Posted February 28, 2016 Author Posted February 28, 2016 The deal that lead to the LEGO games appearing on GoG came about as part of a broader deal between GoG and Warner Bros/TT Games/etc where Warner Bros is allowing GoG to sell titles that Warner owns the rights to. (this explains the games that have appeared so far i.e. Batman and Harry Potter) Quote
