ocifant Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Looking for ideas on how best to represent a bald-headed figure with a long goatee. The beard parts I've seen, such as on the Wizard all seem to have sideburns which isn't what I'm after. Also, any ideas for a bald/shaved head? Kind of like the Shakespeare CMF, but without the hair? i.e. no stud on top? I had a look around sites such as MinifigMe, but without much success. Am I on my own with this? Customisation isn't something I'm in to personally... Quote
HawkLord Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 I chuckled a bit when I read that. I've had a similar problem - I've been looking for a Minifigure that represents me, but I can't find one that's bald, has a goatee, and wears glasses. I've found one that's bald with the goatee, but no glasses (I've seen the one with the protective goggles, but that's not me. I think the minifigure with no hair (just a stud) looks fine. I think if it had a covering piece for the stud it could look weird, like a cone head. As for cool goatees, you try Tony Stark from the marvel line or Aragorn from LotR. Quote
ocifant Posted January 14, 2015 Author Posted January 14, 2015 We bald goatee owners need a support group, obviously! :-) I'll check out TS/Aragorn, thanks. Ah, good old Bricklink! I'd been searching for 'Goatee Beard', but shortening that to just 'Goatee' came up with some candidates. There's even one with glasses! But I think this one is more me, although I'll need to do some work to remove the hair. Quote
HawkLord Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Ha! That first one is hilarious... I guess for all the special printing that Lego does for licensed sets, it would be good for them to get more creative with their base face printing. Quote
MiloNelsiano Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 If gray hair doesn't bother you you could try gandalf's beard with the CMF grandpa headpiece. They go fairly well together I think, and could make a suitable wizard. If you're trying to make it look like you and you're not gray...then it might not work. Quote
ocifant Posted January 15, 2015 Author Posted January 15, 2015 Well I'm grey, but not *that* grey! Quote
