Ribatagus Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 (edited) Hi there!!! Here goes my first MOC for this seccion: THE ROAD BUILDING MACHINES!!! I was seak of so much dumpers and other sets, all the same... no new machines... so I build my own, "old school" style :D http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=196099 or in my personal website (only portuguese version for now): http://vasser.no.sapo.pt/lego This "MOC" is divided into 4 machines, but i can't say their names in english! Feel free to help give the right names for me! :D This is the result of seeing some construction work in front of my workplace...as i was waiting for the transport home, i took pics... came home, and created them!!! it took me a week to finish it (one hour a day) but i loved the final outcome!!! Hope you like it, and feel free to comment!!! Edited July 16, 2007 by Ribatagus Quote
Holodoc Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 Excellent work! *y* Although I prefer the new 6-wide-style, that Quote
MatthewUSA Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 Very nicely done Ribatagus. I give you two *y* up for your MOC's. I particularly like the Steam Roller. What parts did you use for the roller wheel? I have been looking for the right type of part(s) for a roller myself. In the US, your models would be a Road Grader, Steam Roller, Dump Truck (of course) and Paver. Model On!! Quote
Lasse D Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 (edited) I like it. Is it Jeremy Clarkson with a red wig driving that roller? :-P It is a nice grader and dump truck, but I like your paver the most. You rarely see that kind of engineering vehicles in this size of LEGO. Edited July 11, 2007 by Lasse D Quote
zouave Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 These are nice construction machines. I really like the road grader. Good job. Quote
5150 Lego Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 very nice! Lego company, are you listening? Grader and paving machine are great! Quote
Dreamweb Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 (edited) They're really "old style"... Perhaps they'd look even better with old type armless minifigs? :D Great work creating the classic feel! Edited July 25, 2007 by Dreamweb Quote
