[MOC] Balisong/Butterfly Knife

Here's something a little different, a life size lego version of a knife!

So obviously it doesn't cut stuff, and it doesn't look like much, but what I was going for here was functionality over form.

So here it is.

So what made me decide to make this? Well, I actually made this about a year back, because at the time I could afford to get a good one, but I wanted to learn all the tricks, so I improvised. And it actually works! Pretty well I would say. You can see a video of me flipping it here:

Neat. I think I found a use for those Bionicle blades. Unfortunately butterfly knives are illegal in our jurisdiction.
