dr_spock Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 I rebuilt my LEGO Friends rotary snow plow into something a little less girly. Rotary Snow Plow by dr_spock_888, on Flickr How does it compare with the LEGO 4533 Train Track Snow Remover? Disclosure: I built the 4533 with parts from my collection following LEGO instructions. plow vs plow by dr_spock_888, on Flickr MOC: Plow driver rides in comfort inside the heated cab. 4533: Plow driver has to be properly dressed for the snowy operating conditions. (Original set has driver in summer work clothes.) MOC: Exhaust stack behind cab. 4533: Exhaust stack pointed at plow driver. How do they perform? Lets find out in the battle of the snow plows: Which one would you rather be working in? Cheers. Quote
Feuer Zug Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 My preference would be the enclosed cabin MOC snowplow. I've seen the Rockies in winter and have an appreciation for heated spaces. The snow your LEGO world receives is horrific! It comes down in 2x4 bricks! Either that, or they waited for a couple of melt and freeze cycles before conducting the test. suffice to say, I probably rather be in the Australian outback working the iron trains there than dealing with that kind of snow. LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Hey the winner is Dr_Spock ....and you can also use the nuclear to clear the track! This heavy duty wagon is wonderful and looks like a real one! You're very creative in this period! Quote
cgarison Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Great Video! And your MOC is my favorite snow remover. Quote
legoman666 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 The video was hilarious. Well done and I'm glad it doesn't snow enough to warrant one of those big snow removers here in Kentucky. 4-5" is plenty, thanks. Quote
eurotrash Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Superb! but my preference is for the MOC. Quote
