Madoca 1977 Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 (edited) Hi, Looks too black? This is my latest creation. To be honest, it's not something new. It's not powerful... but is my first truck for T.T. Weight is 1245g. Lighter than 9398 crawler. Features, XL motor for driving. Servo motor for steering. M motor for 2 speed gearbox. (1st 5:1, 2nd 3:1) M motor for working front and rear LED lights Four wheel drive without differentials. Long travel suspension. Working fake V4 engine. Openable hood, doors and tailgate. Doc_Brown Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 It can never be too black!!! Looks awesome man! Looking forward to seeing it in action. Quote
Madoca 1977 Posted April 16, 2014 Author Posted April 16, 2014 Thanks! I tried add the yellow line on the body. Or red, blue, white... again and again. But black is cool! Quote
drakmin Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Great proportions! You are good at using panels! Quote
grum64 Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 (edited) Good looking truck helped by the great use of the panels. Look forward to seeing it in action. Edited April 16, 2014 by grum64 Quote
unimog123 Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 I agree, black is always awesome, especially for one of these kind of trucks. I have to say the middle part of the chassis that connects the ball joints looks a bit weak or not robust, but I am still looking forward to seeing it perform in one of your great videos. Quote
0RBlT Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Hello! Please tell us why you said it was your last job? You never plan to go back to MOC? Quote
Madoca 1977 Posted April 16, 2014 Author Posted April 16, 2014 As you see this construction looks odd. However, it is surprisingly robust. Quote
LegoMathijs Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 (edited) Looks great! Edited April 16, 2014 by LegoMathijs Quote
Madoca 1977 Posted April 16, 2014 Author Posted April 16, 2014 Hello! Please tell us why you said it was your last job? You never plan to go back to MOC? This MOC is my newest one. Not the LAST. Quote
Hrafn Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 That's a clever way to put the gearbox as close as possible to the output axle. Nicely done! Quote
Nico van Duin Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Very nice and compact build! Clever how you mounted the ball-joints. Maybe you can make the mudguards a little bit wider, because now the sides look a bit flat, but that's just my opinion. Quote
jantjeuh Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 (edited) Another great MOC by Madoca :) Looking forward to the instructions! Have to say I like the all-black. Better than red at least, hah. Love the gearbox as well, very clean solution. Edited April 16, 2014 by jantjeuh Quote
0RBlT Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 This MOC is my newest one. Not the LAST. And I was afraid that you will no longer please us with their masterpieces. We look forward to hearing from you more such wonderful models. With regard to this MOC we would like to add that visually looks very aggressive, and what's even reminiscent of the Jeep with the film Nanny if you remember this :) http://content.foto.mail.ru/mail/zoxah12/_answers/i-68.jpg but only sorry there was not enough space for the installation of differentials. By the way it does not cause the wheels are skidding when cornering? Quote
Blastem Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 I have been following you work for past months, and this is another amazing example of your skills. Nice and strong, and in a "hard looking" color like Black! Congratulations Quote
JohnR33 Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 this looks great! the black color scheme is nice and I like how you put the exhausts on the sides. looking forward to seeing video of it in action. Quote
Lakop Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 The black works well. Nice model but it looks more like a crawler to me. H Quote
Madoca 1977 Posted April 21, 2014 Author Posted April 21, 2014 Today I shot the video under the sky at the first time. Quote
rm8 Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 (edited) Today I shot the video under the sky at the first time. Congratulations! You opened outdoor LEGO:) New truck, new music, new test environment! Nice video, but next time show us harder offroad test track;) we like rolling over roof:)))) Thank you for video. Model is really powerful and stable despite many additional functions... fan36 Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Sorry, I'm not familiar with truck family. Could you please explain some about the different design of Trail Truck and Crawler Truck before? Quote
Madoca 1977 Posted April 25, 2014 Author Posted April 25, 2014 Honestly, I can't explain the difference. It seems many trial trucks have truck-based body... Anyway I added this MOC to Rebrickable. Quote
