Nice replica! Were you able to "reverse engineer" the set from the few published photos of the set, or did you get PDF Building Instructions somehow? Did you use a stock 8043 Motorized Excavator as the basis for your replica? How do the 42006 and 8043 compare?

Very well done. you spend enough time looking over all the pictures you can build like this, the inside and the boggies would be the hardest part to do though. The 4 jaw is nice also considering we don't have the parts to build the new one yet. I,m looking forward to getting this one as well, just hope its not gonna be stupid expensive.

This set seems to be quite a bit more ingenious than I first thought. Great job on he replica. MOCcing is one thing, but building a set from just photos is something entirely different!
